Doyens Institute of International Studies (DIIS), in association with Nottingham Trent University (UK) and dg Anti Fraud Consultants Ltd (UK), conducts this Specialised Short Terms Course on ‘Court Room Skills’, for lawyers, legal officers, public and private sector managers, financial investigators, and all others related with compliance and due diligence.

Course Descriptor

The witness box is a lonely place. Many witnesses, or indeed experts, feel they are on trial, standing in the dock rather than giving independent testimony to assist the court. Often these people are unfamiliar with this environment as few cases go to full trial, but a poor performance can undermine confidence and credibility.

This Courtroom Skills Training is an intensive one week, highly practical and experimental training course. This is no mere lecture with hints and tips. An experienced lawyer, who is a trained trainer, will examine the theory, practice and procedure of giving evidence, and demystifying the process. This course will be conducted by experienced faculty creating courtroom environment to bring a sense of realism to this training.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for both public and private sector managers especially accountants, auditors, financial investigators and members of law enforcement agencies and those involved in compliance, due diligence and prevention activity. Individuals within corporations who are recognised as potential experts in their field of work would also benefit from this training.

Faculty

The course will be conducted by highly qualified and experienced faculty members from Nottingham University (NTU), UK, thus ensuring global exposure.

Course Fee

The Course Fee for this module is £ 350 GBP (Pound Sterling) or Rs.32,700/- + GST 18%, to be paid after online registration.

Certification

Candidates are imparted an NTU recognised and acknowledged certificate, after successful completion of this course.

Course Timings

The classes will be held from 9.30 AM to 5 PM daily, with two Coffee Breaks from 11.00 to 11.15 AM and 3.15 to 3.30 PM, as well as Lunch Break from 1.00 to 1.45 PM.

Venue for Classroom Training

Classroom Training will be conducted at DIIS Campus at Sector 44, Gurgaon, which is well connected from all parts of Delhi-NCR.

The training can also be provided at the location of the organisation subject to number of candidates taking up the course.
